This site has been created to provide easy access into the analysis that Government has undertaken when introducing new regulations.

Finding an Impact Assessment

To find a specific Impact Assessment, select the 'Search IA Library' tab at the top of the screen.

This will present you with two options.

Either to use the keyword search or scroll through the listed Impact Assessment provided in the table.

Or to use the 'Advanced search', which enables you to specify keywords, departments or date ranges for when the Impact Assessment was published.

Viewing an Impact Assessment

To view an Impact Assessment simply click on its title. This allows you access the summary of what the problem was, why Government needed to intervene and the options considered to resolve it. At the bottom of this screen you are presented with two options. You can 'View the analysis and evidence' which will provide you with the supporting economic analysis for this Impact Assessment, or select 'Download this Impact Assessment' to access the full Impact Assessment.
